This application is operated by an individual content creator trading under the name WanderByJose, based in the Netherlands. For any privacy-related questions, contact us via Reddit at r/WanderByJose.

We do not collect any personal data during normal use of this app.

The information you enter during the assessment — including your skin goals, skin state, age range, biological sex and session preferences — is processed entirely within your device's browser session. It is never transmitted to any server, never stored in a database and never associated with your identity.

When you close or refresh the app, all session data is cleared automatically.

If you choose to subscribe to the WanderByJose newsletter via the app, your email address is collected and processed by Kit (formerly ConvertKit), a third-party email marketing platform.

By subscribing you agree to:

• Your email address being stored by Kit on their servers
• Receiving a weekly newsletter containing skincare deals, product information and affiliate offers
• Kit's own Privacy Policy, available at kit.com

You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email you receive. Your email address will be permanently deleted from the list upon unsubscription.

We do not sell, share or transfer your email address to any third party other than Kit for the purpose of delivering the newsletter.

This app contains links to products available from a third-party retailer. When you tap a product link and visit the retailer's website, that website may collect data about your visit in accordance with their own privacy policy.

We are an affiliate partner and may receive a commission if you make a purchase through those links. This does not affect the price you pay.

We do not receive any data about your browsing behaviour, purchases or identity from the retailer.

This app uses the following third-party services for technical functionality:

• wsrv.nl — an image proxy service used to load product images. No personal data is transmitted. Requests include only the image URL and your IP address, as with any standard web request.
• Google Fonts — used to load typography. Google may log the request in accordance with their privacy policy.
• Kit (ConvertKit) — used for newsletter subscriptions only, as described in Section 3.

No analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, Mixpanel or similar) are used in this application.

This app is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone under the age of 18. Users are required to confirm they are over 18 before proceeding with the assessment. If you believe a minor has used this app and provided personal data, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

As this app is operated from the Netherlands, it is subject to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Since we do not collect personal data during normal app use, most GDPR rights are not applicable in practice.

If you have subscribed to the newsletter, you have the following rights regarding your email address:

• Right of access — you may request confirmation of whether we hold your data

All data entered into the app remains within your browser session and is never transmitted over a network. The app is served over HTTPS, ensuring that your connection to the app is encrypted.

Newsletter subscriber data is secured by Kit in accordance with their own security practices and GDPR compliance commitments.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by the updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes relating to this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Netherlands.
